Burnett Street Early Education & Kindergarten is located in the leafy Ipswich suburb of Sadliers Crossing. We provide childcare and early education to children from birth to 5 years of age, providing fun and enriching learning experiences and growth opportunities allowing your child to develop their emotional, social and intellectual intelligence as well as their physical well-being.
Our new state of the art Centre provides separate age-appropriate indoor and outdoor learning environments and play areas for our junior and senior age groups as well as a contemporary layout, toys and resources and a team of enthusiastic educators ready to provide personalised care and education to your child.
Meet our Director - Lauren
Lauren is the proud Centre Director at Burnett House and brings with her 17 years of hands-on experience in the early childhood education and care sector. Throughout her career, Lauren has held leadership roles across a variety of centres, including larger-scale services, but says there’s something truly special about the close-knit, family feel of Burnett House.
As a devoted mother of four and a long-time Ipswich local, Lauren understands the everyday realities, joys, and challenges of parenting. This gives her a unique perspective and a deep empathy when working alongside families, supporting them through their child’s early learning journey. She believes in creating a safe, nurturing, and inclusive environment where every child feels valued, supported, and inspired to grow.
Lauren holds a Diploma of Early Childhood Education and is especially passionate about children’s safety, emotional wellbeing, and the importance of play-based learning. She leads her team with dedication and purpose, ensuring quality care and meaningful learning experiences are at the heart of everything they do at Burnett House.
Outside of work, Lauren cherishes spending time with her family and making special memories together. Her warm, approachable nature and strong commitment to early childhood make her a valued leader in our community.
